Our pawn & purchase tickets contain essential information concerning the identity of our clients, the collateral items and all specifics of the transaction.

Our clients must sign and give a thumbprint on every ticket. We are required by law to hold all purchases for 30 days (automatic police hold) before we can sell any purchased item. Pawns (loans) are only held until the client comes in and picks them up. Otherwise we hold the pawns (loans) for 4 months and ten days. Gems N’ Loans also records all transactions on digital video and makes this available to law enforcement when requested. In order to make this system work, you must report your stolen property as soon as possible to your local law enforcement agency.

Ruby - July Birthstone of the Month

Ruby is considered one of the four precious stones and is a red variety of the mineral Corundum. Its name comes from ruber, Latin for red. Ruby is the birthstone for July and also a traditional gift for those celebrating 15th or 40th anniversaries.
Throughout history, ruby has been and remains to be one of the most sought after gems in the world. The most expensive ruby ever sold was the "Hope Ruby" which weighs 32.08 carats and sold for $6.74 million. Some famous rubies include the "Rosser Reeves Star Ruby," the "Edwardes Ruby," and the "De Long Star Ruby"

Here at Gems N’ Loans we take our gems seriously and Ruby is no exception! Throughout the month of July we are offering 40% off the Birthstone of the Month, some exclusions may apply. Come in today and take a look at our selection.
